I'm not beating a dead horse since OP's situation seems set.

But as a general statement, for others following later via google,

for someone spending long periods off grid, and with a big investment in a large expensive bank,

such "minor factors" can accumulate to make the difference between 2 years rather than 8, or 4 years rather than 12.

All depends on context and priorities.
