35% I think a fair offer - always a risk these things don't work out of the box or he simply forget to tell you his kids used the boxes as goalposts

If I had wanted these / to spend that much I would have offered 50%..........but fitted and working, including sea trial

But he probably is better off with EBAY............ Deluded seller WLTM deluded buyer

36% is very fair. I sold some new industrial manufacturing machinery with $480k worth of new PLC, scanning & optimization in 2008. Customer never installed and tried to sell it thru various venues. I finally got an offer for $75k and convinced him to take it. The system is still a current model, but very high chance that the new owner will spend 6 figures to get it running, since the warranty is long gone. Risky stuff, electronics that sit around unused. Plus any mfg upgrades are absent vs same model, current year.
