hell I'm semi retired so I only work a 1 day week...
and then theres deliveries... and parties... days on the beach...

thanks for explaining that.. I was under the impression that the thing to do for no ice was to engage the EPRB and get the delivery posthaste....

Where does one buy the big red buttons?

@saucy, yes there is a mast and boom for the boat. Go out into the channel where she sank, and down 35 feet. Its all there, we just forgot to bring it up when we raised the rest of her.

Exactly, that acuatlly makes it worth while. Scrap lead prices seem to be around .40/lb although since primary lead is higher, you may get more.

Let's see: 11,000 lb boat with 40% ballast ratio gives you 4,400 lbs of lead at $0.40/lb equals $1,760, less the labor cost to get the boat out of the water, cut the keel off, cut it up and melt it down...

I can think of better investments.
