Re: Replacing sound proofing diesel engines

We used a combo of lightweight 1" firewall material (normal use in elevators) that is sound proofing plus a 1" thick foam/lead sheet material. It makes a difference but we have one side of the engine compartment still uninsulated. Project lag.
