"Cans and guns," as my ol' grandmama used to say, before she got on her Harley and headed off down the road to run away to Brazil with her wing-walking married boyfriend.

Amazing someone worries about ebola that we do not have in Canary Islands and says nothing about 2014 chikungunya outbreak in the Caribbean, that is a real threat and leaves very bad, very long lasting effects. Do not ask me how I know.

no monkeys were harmed, plus unlike ebola it is does not have an 85% fatality rate, and the caribbean is not on the "front line"like the canaries and western africa, spain.

Get out there on the water now while you still can go cruising before a solar flare boils the oceans dry.

Someone posts a rather exaggerated paranoid article and it spawns 2 + pages of comments. Welcome to the internet.

this epidemic is disconcerting.Initially, there were reports it went airborn but this has disappeared from reportage. I think we really have little idea of what is really going on and what the "vectors" are.

With misplaced Anthrax, etc.... at the CDC, I feel much safer, now that they can get their hands on some Ebola virus to weaponize and misplace.!

so far ,so good but..............

http://www.cdc.gov/vhf/ebola/pdf/fact-sheet.pdf

How is Ebola virus spread?

Ebola-Reston appeared in a primate research facility in Virginia, where it may have been transmitted from monkey to monkey through the air.

While ALL Ebola virus species have displayed the ability to be spread through airborne particles (aerosols) under research conditions, this type of spread has not been documented among humans in a real-world setting,
such as a hospital or household.
