Shoaling to 5 feet in North Bimini entry channel
Important info for those planning to cross the Gulf Stream to Bimini: Due to a recent storm, the channel into North Bimini has shoaled to 5 feet MLW in areas, according to Robbie Smith, Dockmaster at Bimini Big Game Club Resort and Marina. Deeper-draft vessels should use the channel at mid-tide rising until the channel is dredged. WaterwayGuide.com will update when dredging is scheduled and when it is completed.
