Navionics is back working in SAS Planet. You'll need to either to do what BlackSea suggests, or just download the new map card for navionics. Here's the link to the latest map cards (navionics is found in the "_water" directory): https://bitbucket.org/sas_team/sas.p...ps/get/tip.zip

I have updated my saplanet version to the latest nightly level and has the navionics fix. If you want it, download and unzip it and take the second directory called SasPlanet and replace your current one. Here is the link: http://gdayii.ca/Downloads/Sasplanet.zip

I have also removed the duplicate guids.

If your sasplanet cache is still in the saplanet directory and you want to preserve it, cut the cache directory from your current one and paste into the new one.

Found a problem with V8.0.1.0: If you select more than 1 polygon/path for processing Sat2Chart will do a excessive number of downloads and exports. Here is a link to a new Sat2Chart.rex file that fixes this,:

We intend to cruise Canada in 2020 so I thought I'd give this a try.


I followed the installation instructions on pg 1 of this post. Instead of ImageMagick-6.6.3-0-Q16-windows-dll.exe, I installed ImageMagick-7.0.9-0-Q16-x64-windows-dll.exe which is the latest version. There is no convert.exe file listed in the files within ImageMagick. Where would I find it?


Next, per the instructions on pg 104, I tried to download http://gdayii.ca/Downloads/Sat2Chart.V8.0.1.0.exe. I got a message that the file is no longer available. Where can I get it?


Are there updated install instructions? Looking through 104 pages from 2010 to 2019 is tough and I may have missed something.

Those original instructions are about 8 years old, so don't use them.

Also, how do you download Sat2Chart.V8.0.2.0.exe. That link is for version 1 which you said has a glitch in it..

The latest full version is V.8.0.1.0 so that is the link.

Just download install it and when it launches you will see a button with links to Tutorials to help you create charts from various sources.

Sat2Chart.V8.0.2.0 is now available. Some of fixes:
- Creating a mbtiles chart from SasPlanet and specifying multiple zooms levels, some of the lower zoom levels are downloaded but not in the chart.
- Creating a mbtiles from a GEOTIFF crashes. Fixed and also improved performance dramatically.
- Creating a mbtiles from a Kap results in a chart with incorrect geo-referencing.
- See the Changelog.txt for the rest.
