SAS Planet acting strange today

Using the internet as a source with SAS Planet, I cannot get the queue count to go to zero

For areas that I have a cache loaded, when selecting the source as 'cache' the count is displayed as zero. But when the source is selected as 'internet' or 'internet + cache' it hangs at a higher number.

Could you post the lat/lon and the map source and any layers you are using so I can see if I get the same results.

I discovered the sasplanet.ini file was corrupted. Replaced it with a fresh version and all is OK now.

Sorry to bother

Please email me the kml file and the GE2KAP.Log.txt which you will find in the same directory where GE2KAP is installed which is probably: C:\GE2KAP\GE2KAP.V25.0.0.6\.

My email is in the Help (F1)

Re: SAS Planet Good News and Bad News

Install (unzip) the stable version, then unzip the nightly over the top of it. You'll get all the maps that are in the stable version

Visiting customers in the Phillippines.... from Canada. There's quality for ya.

Terry I have known for his activities for years, I'd be tempted to do it as well. You are both precious.

Good job.

Re: Google Earth to BSB / KAP

I have just released GE2KAP.V25.0.0.8 that fixes a few minor problems. Also I have updated the tutorials to reflect the new functions and made some simpler in particular tutorial 4 on Polygons/Paths. You can the new version from the Downloads page of my website Sample

Exclamation GE2KAP and SAS Planet

I've written a blurb about my procedures in creating charts using SAS Planet as the imagery source.

You can download it here.

Re: Google Earth to BSB / KAP

I haven't seen navionics on SASPlanet for some time, and just came across a fix >

Download this zip file
TinyUpload.com - best file hosting solution, with no limits, totaly free

Unzip it and save the folder into

.......\SAS.Planet......\Maps\sas.maps\Marine

Then restart and navionics should be back in there

Re: Google Earth to BSB / KAP

Thanks for the update conachair. I think there was another post awhile back that provided a different solution but good to have another. The version of sasplanet on my website works with Navionics. You can download it here:

Re: Google Earth to BSB / KAP

BTW I have made some updates to GE2KAP that allow you to use more of the SasPlanet Maps mostly the street maps like GoogleMapMaker, Bing Maps and ArcGIS.Streets.

But at the present time I am travelling without my work computer so can't create a new version. If you want it I can email it to you.

Re: Google Earth to BSB / KAP

Are you using version 160707? I think they fixed that since 160606 didn't have Navionics.

Both Navionics charts work fine for me with this version.
