Google Earth to BSB / KAP

I am currently transferring a load of tidal stream atlases to opencpn,
rather than putting in calibration points for every image, is there a way to batch calibrate in mapcal_2.exe, or to load the same calibration points into the next image?
Slow process otherwise

Editing the top 3 lines of the chartcal.dir file to the next image filename seems to be a pretty quick workaround

For all users of GE2KAP I would recommend looking at all of his tutorials. I just discovered that you can get rid of the Google Earth logo etc by setting
GEKAP.Options.txt> CROPAMT=102

Highlights are:

- Support for Maxsea for Path/Polygon
- Progress bar when cursor moved to top of screen
- GE CROPAMT is now an option on third panel
- Many fixes see the Changelog.txt

- The options now will appear on the second panel.
- Logging now done in separate thread,
- Chart date includes date and time

Hello everybody,

We experience a sudden problem with Navionics in France (maybe in other country?) :
I've discoverered this problem working with SAS-Planet on Navionics.
This software works great normally, but from a few days, impossible to use it when cache option is set only on "Internet", if I use this soft using "Cache" mode, no problem.
I've asked russian forum to know more about, the answer was :
"Web API previous version is deprecated and further development has stopped.
new version have another projection
here you can download navionics layers, but if you want map (non-tranparent tiles) just change
asLayer=1 to asLayer=0 in params.txt
TRANSPARENT=TRUE to TRANSPARENT=FALSE in GetUrlScript.txt"

The problem is that we (Yoruk, me and other peoples) don't know how to do to modify params.txt and GetUrlScript.txt because those files don't have "TRANSPARENT" word in GetUrlScript.txt and we cannot use SASPlanet and GE-Kap now.
And reading Navionics directly on a web page is possible.
If some peoples use SAS-Planet and have a fix or a tip for...

FYI ... information from Navionics posted by a friend.


'SAS Planet had no authorization from Navionics to use our map data and therefore, after an investigation made together with our Russian distributors, we disabled the unauthorized access to our data. I’m sure that you will understand that cannot permit our data to be used without consent.'

I've found another way to avoid this problem now.
I'dont want to make any troubles with Navionics, they are already enough to worry about with Sonarcharts ...
