Google Earth to BSB / KAP

OK here is same thing on Window 10 I called the chart HarborV10. You can see from screen shot at location 2 that the popup is the same as the chart.

Actually in both logs it does say it replaces the chart in the same folder.

I have a new version of GE2KAP ready that supports creating charts from the Landsat satellite images. The Landsat 8 satellite images the entire Earth every 16 days. So often the data is more up to date than Google Earth. Attached is an example of a chart created from Google earth and one from the Landsat 8 satellite which was taken on April 17, 2016.

If anyone is interested in testing the new version with Landsat images, let me know. If you don't know my email PM me.

Deva, I suspect that you are running an oorexx version less than V4.2.0. and this caused the GEKAP.Options.txt file to be corrupted. So you probably can't get to Help the file to get my email so I will PM it to you. Then send me the that file and also the GE2KAP.log.txt.

Deva, Ok finally found them in my trash. The GEKAP.Options.txt is corrupted. You must have been on oorexx V4.0.1 then upgraded.
So to fix this just delete GEKAP.Option.txt then restart GE2KAP which will use all the default options. It will build an new options file when it terminates.

I used my the test version of GE2KAP to enhance a Landsat satellite image taken yesterday of the area north of Fort McMurray in Alberta Canada. They have had some huge fires lately that nearly wiped out the town I think the red areas are fires, the purple smoke and the orange are probably smoldering fires.

I know this is not sailing related but thought it was interesting.
