Garmin GPSMAP 172 C - BlueChart Data Card - powers down

My Garmin GPSMAP 172C, external antenna, wired to DC box on Catalina 27. The system is below deck and has never been exposed to water splash.

I power it up, it turns on, searches and finds satellites, and then when it loads the Data Card, it will completely shut down. When I power up again, it will repeat the same process.

Any ideas - Amp fuse, grounding, chart card, internal problem...?

Yep. Clear the tracks, waypoints etc.
