Electronic logbooks

Okay, I admit it, I'm a Trekkie fan. I want to utter those immortal words, "Logbook, Stardate........", and have all of my instruments putting their data together onto a Google map, and including any pictures or sounds that are currently relevant. Today's Panbo article has a teaser about this fantasy, Start.

Does anyone have similar interest, and, perhaps, an idea of a competing system that is available?
