B&G Network Nav. problem

Have at the helm a set of B&G Network Instruments, Quad, Wind,Pilot and Nav. At the navigation table is a Raymarine E80 plotter which outputs to the B&G stuff.
Recently I noted that the Network Nav intermittantly would not dispaly COG, Lat/Long, etc (The display shows OFF), but does display Speed over Ground and also Time.
At first the data was only missing for a few seconds, but its now getting to minutes.
I checked the output NMEA settings on the E80 and they are correctly set, no obvious signs of poor connections. I dont understand why the Nav gets some information from the E80, but not all of it. The Service Department could not offer any suggestions. It may be the Nav unit is at fault, but hoping some one can offer other solutions or things to check.

Re: B&G Network Nav. problem

What is sending the data to the network?

Mine is OK, now, make sure that the sender is set to send the correct data, and also disable any NMEA sentences that are not required.

I have a Raymarine e125 whch is used to send the data to the B&G Network.

Re: B&G Network Nav. problem

B&G plotters are serviceable, but way too complicate for average users, and no plug-and-play at all.

I bought the ZEUS TOUCH T7 MONITOR in late 2014. It does not read Navionics Platinum+ released this spring and bought last July.

The SD card is not seen by system, even after the upgrade to version 2.0 (to get downloaded on a virgin SD card, then to be flipped into B&G)

New "version" is on, Platinum+ is ORIGINAL, still the chart source selection does not see the new SD card.

Quite depressing, and annoying too.

B&G is good if you have a team behind you. By Far not any longer that rock solid reputation it used to be, to me.

Sure, Brookes & Gatehouse is not at all bandg

Can anyone help, please!?

Btw, the top mast wind stn, proudly made in Mexico, was not working and had to be returned...(BRAND NEW).

Yes, great assistance, BUT after you pay 40eur/h a technician looking for the whereabouts. NO GOOD!
