Question on rocna anchor sizing chart

I am having a trouble understanding this rocna sizing chart....
http://www.defender.com/pdf/rocna-sizing-chart.pdf
Do the pound figures on the chart represent holding power or displacement? I specifically want to know which one of the following two statements is true based on the chart.

1) a 26 feet boat requires up to 2,200 pounds of holding power. Therefore, a #6 rocna anchor is adequate.

or

2) a 26 feet boat displacing more than 2,200 pounds but less than 13,200 pounds must use a #10 rocna anchor.

Can someone help me interpret the table?

Re: Question on rocna anchor sizing chart

the 2200, is boats displacement . Therefore a26ft boat with less then 2200 displacement needs a #6and a 26ft with a displacement of less then 13 200 but more then 220 requires a # 10 . Rocna sizes conservatively. Quite a variance in displacement though from 2200 to 13 200.

Re: Question on rocna anchor sizing chart

FWIW, our 26-foot power boat weighs about 11,000lb loaded on the water. We have a Rocna 10 - works great on the Inside Passage.

Re: Question on rocna anchor sizing chart

Rocna 10 on my Alberg30 but as yet untested. It's got to be better than the lunch hook it came with :-)
