Looking for matching hawse pipe

I'm looking for triangular hawse pipe (the guide that your mooring lines go through).
I am unable to find one to match the one I have. It is stainless and has flanges on only the 2 sides which are 90 degrees to each other. These 2 flanges are about 1" to 1 1/2" wide and have the screw holes in them to screw the hawse pipe down to the top of the coaming boards. The pipe rests right in the corner where the gunwale meets the transom - if anyone has any ideas where I can find this animal - I'd sure appreciate it.

Thanks - Paul S.

I'd say that if it was an old fitting you maybe out of luck. Many of the older manufacturers of things like that have been rolled by china who only do a limited range.

You may have to get someone to make one for you.

Any idea of the age?

And by the way, a welcome to CF is in order by the looks. There are many from all corners of the world here so you just never know who maybe watching and know.

No luck yet on Hawse Pipe

I checked the Sea Dog and white cap triangular ones - no luck.

I'm having my local Carver dealer check too. Next option is to visit a few used marine supply warehouses - there are several in Seattle which are pretty good.

Just a thought.
Down here we have a few shops which do trade-ins and deal in some second hand gear. They often have hard to find older fittings off whatever.

Anyone like that around your area maybe? They often know of someone who knows someone sort of thing as well.

Is it fabricated or cast. If cast a good foundry should be able to reproduce it or a fabrication shop if fabricated.
