Sailkit for Walker Bays

Greetings All - I have a Walker Bay8' dinghy as tender at this time, and I came across a Walker Bay 10' with sail kit available at good price. Mast and boom dimensions seem to be the same, sail area 50 sq' as opposed to 39 sq', but any reason it would not work? Also, are replacement sails available for these off the shelf, or would I be better served going to sailmaker. I know this is not high end dinghy, but I am not dealing with high end budget. Thanks!
