Cordless Power Winch

Some time ago i saw an article about cruisers using a cordless angle driver such as a Dewalt etc for powering their manual winches.
Any experience or knowledge of this.
The two speed units 0-500rpm with 18 volts appear suitable?.

Discussed here at great length previously. Use the search Button above a look for "Winch Buddy" or "Milwaukee"

"It is not so much for its beauty that the Sea makes a claim upon men's hearts, as for that subtle something, that quality of air, that emanation from the waves, that so wonderfully renews a weary spirit."
