Carbon Fiber Tubing- Where to Find?

I see a lot of manufacturers of wrapped CF tubing but most of them only make the small stuff for sale. I need a piece w/4" O.D. 1/8" wall about 14' long. No one advertises anything that long, actually less then half that length. I suppose I could call them but I thought I'd check here first to see if some one has a source here in the USA.

All I've found are complete units, not just the tube. My old end pieces are just fine.

Thanks!

Exel composites can make it.

Exel Composites > English > Products > Tubes > Round Tubes

Build it yourself. Much cheaper.

Forte, Forespar, ect will all sell you just the pole.

I have concerns about the structual integrity of the Dragon Plate poles. Spinnaker poles are almost exclusively in compression which requires a very different layup than shear, and I have no idea how they build theirs. They could be fine, but may also fail far before expected. This is not something I know, just something that would worry me.

Agree, and easy enough for straight tube. I did something like this in fiberglass, using 2" wide tape and was surprised how easy it was. The result was indistinguishable from the Centek pipe I had too little of.
