Best deck fills for live aboard

I guess this is maybe a silly question but I've just finished ripping off my teak deck and am having the deck glassed and awlgrip/nonskid. I was thinking to replace the 30+ year old aluminum goiot deck fills as the caps are kinda worn. We live aboard and open and close the deck fills often taking on water etc. I found at rig rite new aluminum deck fills similar to the goiot ones (takes a winch handle style key) but they want $189 ea! I'm thinking to just go with new stainless or maybe the marlon ones by forspar but as I said I'm concerned with long term use as we live aboard. Don't really feel like replacing these things too often. Any experiences you can share are greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Bronze is my preference, or chromed bronze. They dont seem to freeze up. Whatever you use get some Lanocote or lanolin and apply it to the threads and oring thin.
