Affixing A 3/4inch Terminal To A 5/8 Hole

I am putting a dynex dux backstay on my boat. The dux terminal is 3/4 inch wide with a 5/8 pin. The mast crane is 5/8 inch wide with a 5/8 pin hole.

The problem is that no double jaw toggle will accept the 3/4 inch terminal. I could use a 3/4 inch double jaw toggle with 5/8 pins, but wouldn't this result in point loading and weakening the toggle? I need 10k lbs breaking strength.

Also, with the rope backstay, it doesn't need to be a toggle, any method of attachment with adequate strength is fine.

That stuff is really easy to splice. I used it as winch cable when i was working on a mooring barge. You just tuck the end into the middle of the line using a piece if wire as a guide. So, why not just splice it directly onto whatever it needs to be attached to? Or splice it around a stainless thimble if you like and then have a toggle going to the thimble?

Yes, a pair of link sraps would work, but the off the shelf ones are very weak. I guess getting them manufactured would be the solution. Colligo Marine sells titanium ones, but I think I read about at least a couple failures of these.
