Fridge Divider - What Material ?

Just getting around to redoing the refigeration on the boat and have all the equipment. I am building a fridge/freezer box with a spill over divider and am wondering what you guys have used to construct the partition that divides the box? My first choice from research so far is to use poly blue board encapsulated both sides with either starboard or sheet aluminium. Feedback please. Cheers

PVC foam cored board, 6mm or 13mm. Easy clean vinyl. Light. Very easy to work with. My entire fridge interior is this.

On the principle that everything aboard must have at lease two uses, why not a sized 1/8" thick plank of HDPE in a silvered Mylar bag (you can fit this with some sort of glue gun or "edge melter")?

The plank makes a great cutting board and you can keep ice cubes in the bag!

Spillover refrigeration means there are to be two or more separate temperature area zones within a single box. A refrigerated box’s exterior on a boat can be exposes to a wide range of ambient temperatures so zone temperatures need some type of temperature control. The second thermodynamic fixed control is how to maintain the temperature separation difference between an expectable refrigerator and freezer. Normal boat refrigerator temperatures run from 33 to 50 degrees F while freezer temperatures range from zero to +22 degrees F. Ounce the specific desired temperature of each zone is determined the internal separation dividers insulation R value can be determined. If you can live with a delta T between zones of 25 degrees and lower part of refrigerator at 35 and middle of freezer at +10 degrees then divider thickness of at least R10 is needed.
