Cook stove

Well, I have finally decided to keep my two burner CNG stove and not convert to LPG. I can get it refilled near home port and hopefully obtain and carry a spare tank. However, does anyone know of any locations along the Atlantic ICW that can fill a CNG tank?
Also, I might also carry a small alcohol stove for below and a small gas grill on the rail. Denatured alcohol can be found anywhere. Does anyone have a suggestion for a small alcohol stove? Thank you.

I just decided to keep my CNG as well... CNG bottles can be refilled in Norfolk, but an appointment is needed. I just swapped a bottle last week, but they only had one. Call Virginia Natural Gas, Jimmy, at 757 449 0842.

Sounds like a lot of fuels to carry -- diesel, CNG, propane, and alcohol. Gas for a dinghy? Have you thought through storage?

I finally got my gas grill plumbed to the main propane tanks and am very glad to be done with the little one pound tanks.

Re: Cook stove

Thank you guys for all of the info. I just talked with the folks at Va. Natural Gas (Norfolk) yesterday. He also gave me a good location to obtain a new tank. With two tanks, they should last for some time. I also learned a refill can be obtained in Ft. Lauderdale.

Thanks again.

Benjamin, please do necessary research to ensure your CNG system is safe...hoses, regulator etc. CNG, like all fuels, can be used safely, but requires due vigilance to make sure the installation is good to go. Don't try to mix propane parts...different systems and requirements. Maybe contact your local gas company for advice?
