Re: Broken AC - Re-install myself?

normally into the bilge but increasingly the preference is a dry bilge, so in that case a sump pump.

Re: Broken AC - Re-install myself?

Many that I have seen, along with my own, have been discharged overboard, seperate, obviously from the water cooling.

Re: Broken AC - Re-install myself?

My apologies, I thought you were asking about the condensate water, not the condenser cooling water. Yes, the condenser seawater flow always goes overboard.

Re: Broken AC - Re-install myself?

When I replaced my 01 Sea Ray A/C the newer model wired up easily but kicks off after a few minutes with a low voltage signal. I tried resetting my original controller which didn't work and now I am going to have to figure out how to recalibrate the voltage sensor. Of course I managed to lose the new control unit as the thing appeared to work fine when I installed it in the Fall. I think I can reprogram the controller with the voltage I am actually seeing at the A/C unit. Not as plug n play as I hoped.

Re: Broken AC - Re-install myself?

Sea Ray uses Dometic units, I'm not aware of any that have required recalibration on voltage, but it is common for Low and High Pressure Cut Outs to cycle depending on refrigerant charge, air flow restriction or sea water flow.
