Does your browser display pictures?

Perhaps your browser is of the type that has a little gear-wheel icon in the top left corner?

Click that toothed-wheel icon, and then navigate to Internet Options, find the Advanced Tab, find the Multimedia section, and the check box beside 'Show pictures'.

current theory is I have some...unique...setups that block extraneous s@#t getting onto my system - I'm not going to restructure those for this minor problem - so - thanx for the help but i think i'll just live with it

If You have a software (like AdBlocker Plus for example) set to block pictures, the icons would be not displayed.

If you're using Internet Explorer, you might just have a quick look at your Tools/Compatibility View settings... and if this site is included in any list that might pop up, you could try removing it to see if there's any change.

I don't know if that's a possible, but that has affected IE interaction with a different BB application... so might help here, too.

Well - Hire a 12 year old to fix your computer or...

If you want to surround your copy paste with the quote box you can manually enter the html tags.

Here is a sample of quoted text - I added a space to "break" the html tag so you can see it.

[ quote] take the spaces out between the open bracket and the "q" to start. Enter the stuff you want to quote. Then take the space out before the "foward slash" to close the quote[ /quote]
