System Changing Links in Signature

On my signature the system is adding a "s" to the http:// of the links I'm entering. This is causing an error message to appear for someone following the links. Is it possible to disable this from happening?

They seem to be as intended ... maybe this is a local browser setting?

See the attached screenshots. The top one is what I type in and hit save. When I go back in and view the code it adds the s to Http

The s indicates you are on a secure line/stream!
