Wow... I'm surprised my thread on what my buyers did this weekend got locked down.

First, they are not mentioned by name and remain anonymous.

Second, the actual events of the entire situation are clearly laid out.

When did the forum rules change in such a way that we can't have a discussion about a boating-related mishap without getting the thread locked down?

Nobody's character was assaulted - except maybe my own.

It was a pretty cut and dry set of events:

1) buyer buys boat, waits for delivery
2) buyer reads cruisers forum and jumps to conclusion
3) buyer suggests I took items from boat

Since when is a negative aspect of the boat selling process an "off limits" discussion that needs moderation?

I'm quite surprised.

PS: Please don't make this thread into a huge mess... this is really a legitimate question I have. Can any moderator point me to a rule that says that thread should be closed down?
