Control Characters in Word

Control characters in Word carry over to CF comment.

I have a MAC and usually write my comments in WORD then copy them over to the CF comment space. Before I send the comment it looks OK. However, when it posts it presents the WORD control characters at the beginning and end of the post.

How can I insure that the characters will not show up in the final post?

I also use a MAC, and I have found NISUS Nisus Software - Word Processing for Mac OS X to be a better product. It can also read word documents, as well as write word formats.
and no problems with control characters.….

otherwise... try the preview command before you post, and I guess you have to edit it out manually.

When you paste do you get a dialog box asking if you wish to keep the source formatting?
