- Wife and i have been sailing for some 30 plus years. 6 have been cruising on the East coast and the Bahamas.
Regarding specific detailed marine expertise, eight years ago I designed, patented, and molded a marine hose connection/disconnection system. I'm now selling the patent. The development of the product has provided me with a unique background in the area of plastics used in the marine industry (especially regarding thru-hull, ball valves and seacocks) and marine plumbing plastics in general. It is an expertise I'd very much like to share.
Two grandkids, one in VT the other in CA. So we've sold our last big boat and are now on the hard and traveling between VT and CA. We haven't given up on cruising just yet. Trying to figure how to do it.
Our last two boats were a Shannon 28 and a Benford 39.
