Can No Longer Upload Photos

I have uploaded a few fotos but for some reason I can't anymore, it reads "uploads disabled" . Now is the problem on my en or the sites?

Hi, Irwin28.

I just uploaded this one to the Photo Gallery without any problems. Or were you trying to embed a photo in a post? Can you describe exactly what you're doing and the problems you encounter?

How many photos have you uploaded. If you're uploading to the default image directory, I think there used to be a storage limit, but now it seems to be unlimited. If you've created an album, they max out at 60 photos I think. You just have to start a new album if you fill one up.

Btw thanks guys for your concerns, actjuallu I was just wanting ti upload a few pics to my profile of my soverel, I don't have that many.

Due to how the forum software evolved there are to my knowledge 4 places and ways to upload photos.

1 - Inline photos - While making a normal reply (not quick reply) you can "manage attachments" and upload photos into your messages. These photos stay in the message and are not in a "gallery" per se..

2 - Photo Gallery - Click near the big banner at the top of the screen and you will be taken to the "Photo Gallery." There is a small control panel below the banner ads that allow you to "home", "My Stuff", "What's New", "What's Popular", "Upload" and "Search". Photos here stay in this gallery and you can link to them in threads.

3 - Pictures and Albums - Click "User CP" and in the left nav bar under "Networking" you will see this feature. Here you can create personal albums and upload photos. Unfortunately this set of Albums does not synchronize nor "talk" to "Photo Gallery" - They were separate modules added to the forum software at different times.

4 - Profile Picture - The last way to upload a photo is also under User CP. This is where you can change the photo that people see when they click into your profile page.

5 - Bonus photo - I guess also under user CP under "Settings & Options" is the "Edit Avatar" function. This is where you upload the small photo or picture that appears next to all your posts on CF.

With all these photo systems it is important for us to know exactly which function you were trying to use when you got the uploads disabled error message.

Mabey its on my end cause somehow i t stays at uploads disable for whichever reason on all galleries but it is said so by the site

Irwin28 I have not found anything in your profile that would indicate that CF has disabled your ability to post photos here. Have you tried to post photos on-line anywhere else (photo bucket for example?)

Have there been any changes to your internet browser recently? i.e. have you upgraded or changed software?

I see you have 2 personal photo albums. One has one photo in it and the other is empty. So you have been able to upload photos in the past. Is this where you are trying to upload now?

Yess, either of those places I have tried to upload fotos, when I click on the part that says load fotos, in the 3 places where normally it would say browes fotos it sayhs uploads disabled instead
