Wish I was there instead of my cube!!

Yeah, its a nice joint. Went in there a few years ago on the way to Rio from Receife. Its a 'must stop' as its fresh and clean unlike the smog and polution of Rio. The 2 entrances on the north side are fine, but the South Western one is narrow and a tide rip of epic proportions! Actually Google Earth has a great view of the tide rip at 22°59'54.91"S 42° 0'47.60"W We went out but it was dead on slack tide. They say you only have 15 minutes each side of the tide, but you know locals!

Other great feature is the big tree on the beach at 22°58'13.91"S 42° 1'11.15"W its a bar! We were told that when we arrived but there was no bar there, or chairs or anything. But you just sit down and ... well... a bar tender pops up! LOL
