05 HUNTER 44DS PROP GONE!!

I was sailing Tuesday and my prop fell off!! Anyway, it had a slipstream folding prop on it. We were towed in and hauled out. No damage but what’s next? The 1 1/4 prop shaft appears to have been shortened approx 3/4 inch (guy at yard told me that) for folding prop to fit. Will fixed 3 blade go back on after being shortened? Also, been looking at kiwi props if I don’t have to change prop shaft for it. (Do you have to shorten prop shaft for kiwi prop?). Just trying to get prop on and back in the water. Thanks in advance
