1999 Nauticat 321 in Portsmouth, VA

We are selling our 1999 Nauticat 321 sailboat built by Siltala Yachts in Finland. This is a true quality vessel built to handle the rugged North Atlantic and sail safely and efficiently. Note, she is CE approved Category A, and there is no wood core in the hull or decks!

Unlike many motorsailers, the 321 range was built with sailing in mind. Nauticat breaks their lineup in to motorsailers and pilothouse sailing yachts. The 321 is definitely a sailing yacht, with the sunken pilothouse and ocean cockpit. It’s no performance racer, but she is deceptively fast for her size and style, with a low wetted surface area and generally cruising along at just under half the wind speed, up until 12 knots or so.

She is gorgeous inside and out, and has been well cared for, and it shows in the overall condition and interior woodwork. We absolutely love her, and lived onboard for 7 months before realizing we want something a bit bigger if we’re going to continue to pursue the liveaboard lifestyle while working full time. She is located in Portsmouth, VA at Mile Marker 0 of the ICW. Note, all personal items have been removed.

$110,000

Well maintained, including monthly bottom cleaning via a local dive service. Two thru hulls replaced in February 2020. I have maintenance records, receipts and 2018 survey from our original purchase.

As you step into ENIGMA you only step down two steps! You are in the raised pilothouse saloon that has great visibility all the way around. There is a dinette table to port and while seated at the dinette you can see all around the marina or your secluded anchorage. The dinette converts to a berth if needed. Opposite the dinette is the inside steering station, with a raised chair that offers great visibility and inside sailing in bad weather.

Another step down and you are in the Galley. To port is the head with wet hanging locker. The area is bright white with teak trim. There is great head room in the galley area. The refrigeration is new and the storage in the galley is abundant.

Forward of the galley is the forward cabin. It is heated and cooled by a new 12,000 BTU air conditioning unit.

All the way aft to starboard is the entrance to the aft berth. There is a hanging locker and additional stowage.

I agree with chotu, small boats and a pilothouse often look bloated. This looks pretty sharp. I like the aft berth as well. Innovation in a 32fter is rare. Good luck with the sale.
