Marinas in Miami area

Hi all!
Before heading back to Europe I will spend about 10 days in Florida. I am looking for advice on good Marinas with a reasonable price. Or private slips for rent. Does not have to be in city area. Will be there from about March 20.
Sailboat 46 feet long.
Cheers

Re: Marinas in Miami area

I'n in Hollywood marina in Ft Lauderdale at $1500 a month. I wasn't able to find anything in Miami. I'm looking for Anchorages now as I really need to move south to Key west to get to the west coast.

For ten days? Reasonable? In Miami? Grab a mooring at Dinner Key Marina.

That must be new, because I kept a 42 footer on the moorings there for a month in 2016.

Dinner key has moorings for boats over 40’, they’re further out from shore.

Grove sailing club says max 40’.

If you're at Hollywood city marina, then you can anchor out right there in North Lake for a few days.

Cranston limits you to 40 ft in the mooring fields, but if you can go in person and talk to Shantal or Marjorie, she might be able to accommodate you. Dinner key moorings are exposed to weather but if you take care of your lines, you should not have a problem. They run a shuttle every hour off season and they have the best showers in south Florida. Brand new facilities in the heart of coconut grove.

I recall Cranston having a couple of moorings that could accommodate 50' boats. The question is whether they are a available or not. I don't remember whether they take reservations but I think it was first come first serve.

It's a relatively affordable and quiet area, except on weekends when you get the powerboat party crowd coming in for fuel and whatnot. Not super convenient to downtown Miami if that's a requirement for you but Uber from there won't break your bank either.

They also don’t have showers, so if you need more than a spray with cold water you’re out of luck.
