Miami area marinas

We are sf ca sailors with a Hylas 46 in fort lauderdale. Can someone recommend a marina in the Miami area where we could berth for a few nights, would comfortably accommodate the Hylas and offer us an optimum, pleasant stay?

Best Wishes,
H V

One option is the Miamarina at Bayside... Bayside Marketplace - Outdoor Shopping Mall in Downtown Miami, Florida Featuring Top Dining & Entertainment
It's where the Miami Strictly Sail Show is every February.

There's lots of choices, and I think most should be able to accommodate you at this time of year. We've had pleasant stays at Dinner Key Marina on different occasions. It is a couple blocks from the heart of Coconut Grove, with plenty of restaurants and a nice upscale grocery, and much lower key than the South Beach and downtown areas. There are a couple other marinas in that area as well.

Re: Miami area marinas

We stayed at Dinner Key Marina and found it a dump. Very poor service, bathrooms dirty and only one shower that had any water pressure. The rest dribbled down the wall. Dock in fair condition. The only thing good thing is its proximity to Coconut Grove. It is not worth the fee. Check out Active Captain. com. Its free and you can get reviews on the marinas.
