Interior Speakers for a Hunter 380

I have a 1999 Hunter 380 with 2 interior speakers that are literally disintegrating. I can't find square speakers (6.5 inch) to fit the spot, (see picture) and if I went round, the whole to the back would need to be 5 inch diameter circle, but the front would need to be 7 inch circle to hide the holes from the previous speakers.

Has anyone done this replacement and have a recommendation?

Thanks

Tom

Try Crutchfiled, beyond that maybe just different covers might help if it’s just covers.

Re: Interior Speakers for a Hunter 380

Yes there are many covers out there and maybe you can find some. Google "speaker grille"
The other option is to cover the ones you have with some porous cloth . Remove them, cover with the cloth using contact cement on the back perimeter where the cloth wraps around. Not sure how will this will work but it may if you are good at folding the corners.

Option 3 is to make teak or Starboard rings, square to adapt round speaker grilles to fit and cover any holes. So a square teak perimeter with a smaller round grill.
