Based in Jacksonville Fl. I hold a 1600 GRT Master upon Oceans license. Am a qualified rigger and sail repair tech. Have made 7 western Trans-Atlantic’s and 5 eastern Trans-Atlantic’s. Crew has completed ABYC electrical and marine systems training. Am a retired sea-going tugboat captain. Have captained vessels such as schooners Amistad and America
Most of movement fees will be treated as a tax deductible donation to Florida Youth Maritime Training

We can be available from the 12th on. Captain and crew is $600.00 per day plus transportation back to Jax

Thanks for replying Capt. Bob. I don't believe 33 ft boat needs a crew , but I will pass it on to the owner of the boat. He bought her from us and lives in NY and What he needs is to have it hauled out for cleaning and then transport to NY. Do you know appox. days it would take to get to NY? We have not sailed up north.

Where in NY? Usually will take 5 days to the Chesapeake and then weather comes into play more. Assuming no weather delays 2 days to C&D canal then it would depend on where in NY

It's Lawrence NY. If you don't need a crew, would it be a bit cheaper? I think that 600.00 a day is a bit pricey for a 33 ft. If you only need 2 people, would it be cheaper? Just asking. Just so I can let him know when I speak to him this evening.

Ok can go with one person and drop cost to 450 for me and one crew. Money is paid towards IRS 501(c)(3) non profit and is handled as a donation

Yes it is a tax deductible donation. This supports our training program for disadvantaged youth at risk to become merchant seamen
