Lagoon 450f parts

Hello all,

I am new to the forum and new to Lagoon catamarans.

I have just purchased a 2016 Lagoon 450f (owners version), it is a bit overwhelming, but my wife and I are enjoying the adventure!!!

I wanted to reach out to ask about where you order original Lagoon parts from?

I need to replace the shower control in the master stateroom head. I looked on the Lagoon website, but there didn't seem to be much in the way of ordering parts there.

Being I am in California, there isn't a lot of Catamaran people / dealers here. (I purchased the vessel in Peru and had a crew sail it up to California)

Any advise of where to obtain original factory parts would be greatly appreciated.

All the best,
Jimmy

Re the shower control are you talking about the mixer handle? You can buy these as generic parts with adapters to fit the plumbing.

Re: Lagoon 450f parts

Tin Tin,

Thank you for the response!

I am referring to the mixing handle. I like the factory look, so I was hoping to avoid a generic shower control.

I will check out the facebook page as well.

Thanks again for the information!!

-Jimmy

Andrew,
I have not been 100% happy with my parts searching so far.
The Beneteau USA website has a lot of parts, but it never seems to have the part I am looking for...

I am in California and I reached out to Naos Yachts and John Nelson is the parts guy there. They are more of a Dealer then a proper boat repair shop, but John was able to assist me. Calling him isn't a great option. He prefers emails with detailed questions and photos.
John's email is:
john@naosyachts.com

This has been a weird time to have a new (to me) boat, as a lot of resources, shops, venders and independent repair people have been closed due to Covid 19. (I have been trying to get a new main Halyard since Mid-March...)

I was able to work with the shower system I was trying to replace and got it all fixed up. The issue for me is that the previous owner had frankenstined the Master Cabin shower to run water to the forward peak storage area. Once I got all the extra hoses cleaned up, I was able to properly seal the shower fixture and it works great now.

Good Luck.

-Jimmy

PS: If you find a better parts option, please let me know!

Re: Lagoon 450f parts

Sounds like the previous owner was maybe trying to re-route the cold water that comes out of the hot water lines before the hot water arrives so as to save water?

The mixer faucet part per website is 080915. at $122.62

Cheers

Thanks Tin Tin.
The original owner of the boat had two full time crew that stayed in the front peaks. On the Starboard side, they put a "T" adapter in both the hot and cold water lines that run to the master shower, so they could run both hot and cold water to the forward starboard peak cabin sink/shower combo.

It was the connection to the "T" adapters that was leaking (and causing the water pump to run all the time) that was the original issue, not the shower mixing controller, as I previously believed.

Being that I didn't need to have running water to the starboard forward peak, I removed the "T" adapters and ran the hot and cold water lines directly to the master shower mixer and the problem was solved.

Thanks for the part number. I will need to get better at navigating through the parts website...

I appreciate the support!!!

All the best,
Jimmy
