Leak at port aft cabin

Hello everyone!

Our Lagoon 440 from year 2005 has developed a leak at port aft cabin. The water is coming out near the escape hatch (as shown in image). It has apparently leaked for a long time, and I noticed it last year and thought I had gotten it fixed. Probably I fixed a one point that was leaking, but somewhere there must be another.

Anyone here got the same problem at some point and could give me pointers on where to to find the water ingress point?

Yours,
Miikka

Water jet created while wave gets under bridgedeck produces sometimes significant pressure on windows. Therefore any leak fix from inside may not last long.

I would sikaflex join between window and frame from outside. 1 - 2 cm wide, thin layer so not to create any resistance for passing water, just to not allow water jet to enter area between window and frame. Assume here that you have fixed escape hatch. If not, then ignore.

Re: Leak at port aft cabin

In the end the water leaked from the aft terrace courtesy lamp that had broken (probably someone kicked it by accident).
