However, I'm also definitely on a budget, so no need for fancy outdoor spaces or pools or whatever, though laundry and wifi would be nice. I'd love to be walkable to downtown if possible, so anywhere in Eastport would be ideal over the areas on the other side of Back Creek or elsewhere, but may not be possible. Please let me know if you've got any recommendations, even if they don't fit all those criteria (I know I'm looking for a bit of a rarity)
Are you willing to try Baltimore? Youngs Boat yard.

Might try a unconventional approach. Look at AirBnB, etc, see if there are places on the water and inquire about a slip. The owners might be more open to such ideas. You could leave the slip and anchor out for sanding, etc if an otherwise acceptable spot is available.

222 Severn does allow sanding etc. A friend is there now doing a refurb.

Honestly I would anchor out if leaving in November and save a ton of cash. The shower facilities and dinghy docks make Annapolis a very friendly place for this. Most marinas charge BIG $$$$ for a less-than-year lease.

Reviving this thread as I am looking to head up to the Annapolis area for Hurricane season to after boat show in October. Have a Passport 456. Any reasonable places in the vicinity these days?

The original poster needed a cheap and work-friendly place, and if you need that too then I suspect nothing much has changed from what you see above.

If you don't need cheap and work friendly, there may be a boatload of options available. And much depends on how close "in the vicinity" means.

Go to Craigslist, I was just looking there this morning. There are a number of listings for slips in Annapolis, including live aboard.

Not sure if it’s still an active marina, but I used to love Deep Creek marina, maybe 4 hours sailing north of Annapolis in Arnold

That time of year and thinking about this again. Anyone have any suggestions on reasonable slip for the summer season?
