You know I don't mean that. Strapping a dinghy to the quarter and motoring to Jax is ridiculous. Fix the engine, then take it in steps up the coast, starting in the ICW.

I've sailed up the outside too. Certainly the preferred way. But I read this thread a little different from you as it comes to seaworthyness of boat and crew. As I said above head up the ICW to Ft...

Too rough for the ICW? These folks have no business going offshore at this point, so why encourage it?
The ICW is easy and straight forward.

I know and I was suggesting a motor up the ICW for an inexperienced crew, an unknown and clearly lacking boat. Plus there is no wait for weather and can be done in sections. If the boat issues all...
