We have been told that marina seca is emailing info and pictures to owners who have damaged boats. Our friends have received one of those emails, we have not. So it sounds like no news is good...

I can't speak for the other's affected by this, but the problem we had was the paperwork the MARINA had on file. We did everything by the book when we entered Mexico.

We are currently in the work yard in Marina Seca San Carlos. We have been told to let the marina know when we are ready and they will ask the lawyers. Crossing our fingers.

I forgot to add that all of our paperwork was in order as we obtained all necessary paperwork when we arrived in Ensenada(including TIP). We left our boat at San Carlos Marina last spring.

Just arrived in San Carlos to find a notice taped to our hull. They said all of our paperwork was in order and the lawyers were working on releasing the "legal hold". Not sure what that means time...

We use a similar filter for water from the dock when filling our tank. We still filter with a britta for cooking or drinking.

Similar plan to what we are doing. Possible to live inexpensively in Mexico if you anchor out most of the time, and are careful.

Mast is 8 feet and other spars are 7 feet.
