Re: Generator conks out even on wee load

If the generator has an ECU a few things will cause it to shut down:

Lack of battery power
Lack of cooling water (check the in-line sea strainer and hoses)
Overheat
Low oil pressure...

No you would be wrong. Trying to confirm if what I found was done at the factory or was in fact a repair job after the fact.

It is the theory. This boat came from the Caribbean and was a hurricane boat, but the bulkhead has definately shifted.

It would be the same (about $22.00 a foot). I do not charge extra for thermal imaging. It only helps me do a better job.

You are welcome. This technology is unknown to most and some even down the technology, but if the user is trained, it is pure science and shows exactly what the issues are.
