My Perkins 4108 does not burn oil, it used to leak like a sieve until I replaced the pan gasket now it never needs oil |

I once had the fuel supply line coming out of the tank get clogged and of course it shut down for fuel starvation, disconnected the fuel line at the tank nothing came out used a solid copper wire... |

Re: Perkins no start overnight, no leaks!
Check the diaphragm in the lift pump hold it up against the sun and see if you can see any pinholes it might allow the fuel flow back overnight |

I had mice living on my boat at the marina while I was not aboard. So I put some of my cats urine litter clumps in a plastic super market bag and left it on the cockpit floor, viola no more mice.... |

I had a similar problem it was caused by a broken motor mount that allowed the engine to move around enough at hirgher RPMs to allow water to come in, if it doesn’t leak at lower RPMs that might be... |

I had that problem on my Yamaha 15 hp two-stroke it was the fuel promise diaphragm had a small pinhole and that causes the bottom cal to flood. New fuel pump diaphragm solve the problem |
