Re: OpenCPN and CAN Bus PGN's

From the point of OpenCPN of course it would be nice to accept N2K messages straight away. Only problem is no general purpose computers have an N2K port.

So we need an interface. But there is no...

Re: Problem with OpenCPN

OK, so your navobj.xml is corrupt. You then have a number of files called navobj.xml.1, .2 , .3 etc.

These are the backups.

You can try renaming navobj.xml.1 to navobj.xml and see if it works....

Re: Auto follow default position

Explaining further: These features depend on there being a course available.
If your boat is not moving it doesn't have a course, so the features are not activated.

There is a setting for Look Ahead mode, if you combine that with Course Up you will get that.

Re: OpenCPN Beta Version 3.1.1105 Released

This is currently not possible, the icon is hardcoded in the program.
I have looked at parsing an SVG file for this but this will be in a future version.

Re: Problem with OpenCPN

Try moving all navobj.xml files away and starting again.
If it now works, see if you can get any of the backup navobj.xml.X files to work when named as navobj.xml

Re: cm93 works in V2 but not V3

No, CM93 charts that worked in 2.x works in 3.x too.

1. Check your settings, make sure that the active charts contains the CM93 folder.

2. Do a "Force Full Database Rebuild"

3. If it still...

Re: OpenCPN Beta Version 3.1.1105 Released

Re: OpenCPN Beta Version 3.1.1105 Released

No it's not lost. In fact, from now on all ports are shared. The system doesn't differentiate between a GPS port and an AIS port, they are just different data port that get merged together.

So if...
