We just crossed the Atlantic and all went well, the autopilot did all the work BUT,

As we progressed the boat icon on the MFD was moving more and more slightly off. So not pointing in the right...

I didnt say plug and play ��, i installed the system myself which isnt that difficult. I am saying that there is no Garmin information be it PDF or video about how to use and configure your autopilot...

Thsnks for all the comments. We had a lot of problems already due to numerous factors.

When going from Morocco to canaries we kept getting a rudder position error. We stil had a Nexus rudder...

Indeed, the ground relay is for shutting down the engine and for the glowplugs. All sensors, starter and alternator are isolated from ground and have there own wiring.

I attach the + lead to the battery and the minus lead to the block. i measeure 11.5 volts. so there is some resistance as battery reads 12.7v.

I also measure with a light (led).

Hi, on our b oat we have an 1990 Perkins m50 diesel engine.

I am quite hapy with her but she has one quirk that moest other engines don't have.

The engine has no grounding and has a Ground...

Hi Atoll,

Yeah thats what indeed what i did, so if the one that fits the most snug then i guess it would be the DIN chain, ignoring the NF EN24565 code in the manual.
