@isarafis: Thereīs a misunderstanding. I didnīt develop a radar simulation software. I just use a NMEA-simulator program to feed OC with the needed NMEA-sentences for generating MARPA-targets...

seems that I got it.
To place the libpypilot_pi.so file in the build folder to the usr/local/lib/opencpn folder was the key.

Meantime I read in the manual that the dashboard can use XDR-sentences.
So this can be one possibility.
