I think BoatUS would disagree about hauling a boat, since they pay for half the haul if you are in the target. They have an awful lot of data. They would only pay for this if they didn't lose money...

If it was in the charter fleet, it likely has been rode hard and put away wet. Charters are often in horrible condition.

Specifically, I'm trying to find out if he had an EPIRB or AIS aboard. In the event of an emergency, an EPIRB would be one of the lines of communication with help; it goes to Search and Rescue...
