Re: Gas Refit - factory gas system not to AUZ code

Talk to Nod at Multihull Solutions as they have commissioned many for OZ. They use a gas fitter in Mooloolaba and may be able to put you in contact with him, otherwise I have used a very good gas...

Re: Rigging and Sails

Mine seem to be correctly angled however with the Lipari at full raised sail it doesn’t seem as close as the photos. Standard setup pre hook the halyard runs the wrong way which means I had to add an...

Re: Rigging and Sails

I agree they are expensive, but they do work well.

Hey when I get back to OZ in July I’m happy to send you the plans they sent me.

Re: Rigging and Sails

We purchased ours in Australia, and it cost around $1000 AUD but this was just the hook but was a exact fit to the existing cars on our Lipari.

Re: Rigging and Sails

I fitted the Gaff lock to my Lipari. Lessons learn

The factory halyard seems to be 11 or 12mm poly double braid. Problem is it’s just a little too thick for the Gaff lock, so I changed it to 10mm...

Re: Lucia Owners

For our Lipari ( similar size rig to a Lucia) I would look for a cruising spinnaker of 1.5 oz cloth, about 13.5 to 15 mtr luff and about 6 to 7 mtr foot. We have a Parasailor and it’s somewhere in...

Re: Lucia Owners

Sounds too long. Sounds like it was mast head sail. Most FP are fractional. On our Lipari the max luff is about 14.5 mtr. Zspar don’t recommend mast head rigging of the spinnaker as the mast is not...

Re: Survey complete: Now the questions

Not sure why the generator muffler would be there. The factory generator muffler used to be installed towards the stern near the engine muffler. Probably a third party install. The bilge pump and...

Re: New FP Lipari 41

Twt has it right on the tanks. We fitted the Gaff lock and do love the way it works but there is a little bit of work to get it to work right. Not cheap but nice bit of kit. If you want a video or...

Some have changed to 1-1 if you have electric winch and it seems to work but standard 2-1. We have just fitted a Karver gaff lock still 2-1 but makes it easy with the square head main

Just gravity. Everything goes through the tank. When you flush it goes up the pipe past the no return valve and empties into the tank. If it's turned off it stays there. If opened then it flows out...
