Lucia Owners
Hi All
I am keen to get some discussion going on the new Lucia. There must be at least 30 boats in the water by now, I know #26 was launched before the August shutdown at FP.
We should all have a good few sea miles under the keel and have some info to swap and maybe our paths will cross somewhere on the water.
As always I am sure there will be some cross pollination from owners of other models and brands.
I am compiling a list of owners, I have 4 so far, all Australian but scattering around the world.
Cheers
Martin

Re: Lucia Owners
Hi Barbara and Gernot
Good to hear from you.
Yes, number 5 on the list, what is your hull number?
Austria is a little far from the sea, where do you keep your boat?
We have wintered ours in Spain and will be returning to the Mediterranean in May.
Regards
Martin

we are keen to be involved.
One Day More Hull #6
Based in Mooloolaba Australia. Handover was in late May 2016 and the boat has already sailed to Sydney and back and to the Whitsundays and back.
There is an article in the latest issue of Australian Multihull World on Lucia 40s with some pictures of our boat.
cheers

Re: Lucia Owners
Hi everyone. Very interested in reading about your Lucia 40 experience. My wife and I are looking at either a Helia 44 or a Lucia 40 in the next 4-5 years -- we like the look of both but interested in performance characteristics.

Re: Lucia Owners
Thanks, Martin. This is Yong from Singapore (Hull #1). Met Michael and Marita at Camelot's launch in Paris Dec 2015. She's now in Phuket for annual maintenance and preparing for the Thailand Yacht Show (15-18 Dec). Then the family will fly in and we sail her during Christmas!

Re: Lucia Owners
Hello Everybody,
My wife and I plan to buy a multihull next year.
Exept that we réal l'y have not been welcome by the sales manager for France, we are stil interested by the FC Boat.
We found that the Lucia 40 have Little strorage room.
Living on board, what is your opinion?
So we are thinking about going to a bigger boat.
Belliard 44, lagon 42 or the aventura 43.
Many thanks for your respons.

Hi Martin,
to answer your questions:
Our Lucia is hull no. 7
Yes you are right, Austria is a bit far from the sea.
We keep our boat in Croatia.
If someone is in this area next season - let's meet for dinner.

Re: Lucia Owners
Hi Barbara and Gernot
We are wintering Reflexion near Barcelona and we plan to head for Croatia next year after spending a bit of time in Sardinia. I have not done a lot of research yet so I would be interested in your view on the best time to be in Croatia. I imagine it is a balance between picking the best weather and avoiding holiday crowds. We would certainly like to meet for dinner!
Our friends Mick & Marita who have hull#18 are also likely to visit Croatia next year.

Hi Muriel and Philippe,
Before we lived aboard our Lucia 40 we were also concerned about whether there would be enough storage space. Everyone has different storage requirements however we found that we have more storage space than we initially realised and are finding the Lucia extremely comfortable for two people and with visitors staying from time to time. There is ample interior and exterior storage for our general needs. The only thing we struggle with is we cannot fit our Parasailor into the waterproof forward peaks and have to store it in the anchor bay. Also there is no room to store full size bikes, hence we have folding bikes which are also stored in the anchor bay. We are currently looking for some suitable bikes bags to stop our bikes getting a bit wet at sea!
Cheers,
Marita

Re: Lucia Owners
Hi Lucia Owners,
Just wondering if any of you are experiencing intermittent charging issues with your USB outlets installed in all cabins.
Cheers
