It had a hydraulic steering, complete L&S, after constant readjusting rudders ( open valves) I changed to to dyneema 8mm to a starboard quadrant and a connecting rod...

Happened to me with a brand new engine:
Problem was solidified diesel in the injector pump.
Had to be taken apart and cleaned.

At the moment I don't like to split the whole system. Unless I get resonable offer for the wheel or other parts , I will consider splitting it up.
